Dr. Mohammad Khalifeh is a highly skilled dentist with advanced expertise in orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and a Master of Science (MS) in his specialized field. Dr. Khalifeh is passionate about diagnosing and managing complex TMJ conditions, combining clinical precision with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Khalifeh is an educator and researcher, sharing his knowledge through lectures and contributions to advancing the field. His innovative work includes the integration of cutting-edge tools like ultrasound imaging in TMJ diagnostics and management. As the founder of The TMJ Institute, the TMJ Wellness Group, and the developer of the myTMJ app, he is dedicated to empowering patients and professionals alike with resources for understanding and treating TMJ disorders.

Dr. Parish P. Sedghizadeh is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist. He is a Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, and serves as the Department Co-Chair of Diagnostic Sciences, Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine, which also includes the disciplines of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral Medicine, and Orofacial Pain. Dr. Sedghizadeh is a clinical and surgical oral pathologist with an active intramural and extramural practice. As a clinician-scientist, Dr. Sedghizadeh conducts clinical and laboratory research, publishes, consults, and teaches. He has over 100 peer-reviewed publications, and his research laboratory and clinical research projects focus on the characterization and treatment of microbial biofilm infections, particularly osteomyelitis and osteonecrosis of the jaw where he has developed and tested novel bisphosphonate-fluoroquinolone drug conjugates that target bone infections.
Dr. Vistoso Monreal received her DDS from Universidad de Chile, an Advanced Program Certificate in Prosthodontics from Universidad del Desarrollo, earned a Master of Science degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine with an Advanced Program Certificate in Orofacial Pain from USC, and took part in an additional Advanced Clinical Training in Oral Medicine at UCSF. She is an Orofacial Pain Board-Certified specialist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Center, Director of Distance Learning Programs and Co-Director of the Pain Medicine Porgrams at the University of Southern California.
Her research is focused on precision orofacial sciences with the application of Artificial intelligence in the subdisciplines of orofacial pain and oral medicine.
